Editorial Reviews About the editor of this historical novel dramatizes the American Revolution from the perspective of the dual George Washington and Caesar, Washington "dog boy" slave who escapes from Mount Vernon, a soldier in the Loyal Ethiopians become a unit of runaway slaves, the next fought the British in exchange for postage introduction to algorithms 3rd solution. Cameron hits on the often ignored and embarrassed that the struggle for freedom in America by the British never ceased to possess even the most ardent patriots, slaves introduction to algorithms 3rd solution. The investigation of this tragic irony, but undermines the efforts of Cameron. Not satisfied to establish to the point and move into the military and political machinations of the big race itself, Cameron belabors the question on almost every page. To the credit of the author, is his portrait of George Washington, especially in the early chapters, compelling. It humanizes the general and the present as a small farmer, however, confident men who know their boundaries as easily as he understands his obligation as an opportunity. Initial characterization of Caesar as a victim of the greatest moral injustice in American history is credible, but Cameron in him a precocious student, except that strains cultivated credibility. The novel is meticulously accurate in its historical details (if sometimes repetitive), but the story meanders a path undisciplined before finally grinding to a painful and predictable end. FYI: Cameron is the son of one half of the father-son team, the thriller Alan Craik Series under the pseudonym Gordon Kent wrote.
