McNaughton peppers the narrative with big, bold use of the word "suddenly", and readers are sure they will turn the page to see some fat Preston locked in the jaws of the beast scabby. Instead, the wolf encounters one disaster after another: falling from the roof of the school, difficulty swallowing a large animal, and a steamroller crashes into a wall. When the boar comes home, it looks like he can fulfill his destiny as an evil figure conceals strange lupines in the kitchen sink. In line with the chance to Preston, it was only his mother, which turns around to give him a big hug. Young readers looking forward to know more than the hero happily unconscious of swine flu. Art is ideal for group sharing, on a scale far larger than Guess Who just moved in next door? (Random, 1991, supra). This story is a good combination with other fairy tales in which all pigs are not able to experience how to make a happy ending, and it is a refreshing relief from the classic fairy tale, where the only way to save to your skin is too intelligent, industrious and build a house very much.
